A dramatic autumn sunrise from Utah’s Coyote Gulch, the morning after a thunderstorm turned the trickling October creek into a silty torrent. Since there was no spring near our campsite, my friend and I were forced to drink this “chocolate milk” for the duration of our backpacking trip in Coyote Gulch – not quite as tasty as the real thing!
